Cuban Liberty Council is a non-profit organization striving to promote liberty in Cuba. CLC has played a key role in shaping US policies towards Cuba. CLC has also led diplomatic delegations to the UN concerning Fidel Castro's human rights records.

Amnesty International is another a leading defender of human right in Cuba. Amnesty International sent letter to president Obama calling on him to depart from the Trading With the Enemy Act. This act has been proved detrimental to human rights in Cuba, and hopefully with the help of Amnesty International the Trading With the Enemy Act will be changed for the benefit of the citizens of Cuba.
